Holley Performance acquires MSDP including MSD, ACCEL, Mr. Gakset, Mallory, QuickTime, Lakewood, Hays, Superchips, Edge and Racepak

Holley Performance Products is pleased to announce the acquisition of the El Paso, TX based MSD Group. The MSD Group includes iconic brands such as MSD, Mr. Gasket, ACCEL, Superchips, Edge, Racepak, Mallory, Hays, QuickTime, and Lakewood.

“We are excited to bring together the great legacies of Holley Performance Products and MSD Group. The combination of these brands will provide our customers with the most complete offering of performance products in the industry,” said Holley President & CEO, Tom Tomlinson. “We are aggressively developing innovative new products at Holley and we will continue to build upon the fine job the MSD Group is already doing.”

MSDP Merges two top brands in automotive ignition

In January of 2015, MSD Performance purchased the ACCEL Performance Group. The MSDP Group, a global leader in vehicle aftermarket performance ignition and tuning technology, made the decision to merge the top two companies in the automotive ignition industry worldwide—MSD and Mallory. Mallory will no longer manufacture its product line after March 31st. However, MSD will produce and service Mallory distributor replacement parts such as caps, rotors, points, and nearly 100 other items.

MSD will continue to offer the Mallory fuel products by transitioning to the MSD brand of products. Additionally, MSD will offer the repair of Mallory products and will honor all existing warranties. Beginning April 1, all Customer Service or Technical calls will be routed to El Paso through our toll free number, 800-246-0270.

Erik Jones wins ARCA Race

Mallory Ignition would like to congratulate Erik Jones and Venturini Motorsports on winning the Primera Plastics 200 at Berlin Raceway. Jones had led the most laps at the previous race at Pocono Raceway but had to surrender the lead with only a few laps left after scraping the wall. At Berlin, Jones led 154 laps including the final 124 to take home the checkered flag.

Brennan Poole wins at Allen Crowe Memorial 100

Congratulations to Brennan "The Bull" Poole, for his win at the Allen Crowe Memorial 100 this past Sunday. This marks another checkered flag for Venturini Motorsports one race after Erik Jones took their No. 15 Toyota to victory lane. This week, with Poole at the helm of the No. 15, the Venturinis got the "W" on the dirt track.

Corey Lajoie wins 2nd ARCA Race

Congratulations to Corey LaJoie on winning his 2nd straight ARCA Racing Series race. Corey won the ModSpace 125 at Pocono Raceway on his first visit to the track. Mallory Ignition extends a big time congratulations to Corey and the entire No.17 Medallion Financial Ford team on this great win.
